黃子維 Huang Ziwei

目前攻讀曼哈頓音樂學院(Manhattan School of Music)博士班，拜師 Julia Lichten 教授，並在校擔任音樂史助教和「職涯準備與社區影響力中心」的研究員。於 2019 年畢業於曼哈頓音樂學院，師承法國大提琴家 Philippe Muller。2021 年取得茱莉亞音樂學院(The Juilliard School)音樂碩士學位，在學期間接受Richard Aaron 的指導，並獲Yolanda Sardi Schwartzman Scholarship Fund 以及 E. & W. Naumburg Scholarship 獎學金。
求學期間亦積極參與各大國際音樂節，包含美國 Taos School of Music、Bowdoin International Music Festival、Music Academy of the West、台北大師新秀音樂節 、薩爾茲堡莫札特音樂節以及德國威瑪李斯特音樂院大師班，期間受邀與耶拿愛樂交響樂團(Jenaer Philharmonie)合作演出協奏曲。今年初，獲選參加 Robert Mann String Quartet Institute，接受 Juilliard String Quartet、Emerson String Quartet、Brentano String Quartet等國際級音樂家指導。今年暑假受邀參與義大利Casalmaggiore International Music Festival音樂節，跟隨國際小提琴家胡乃元一同演出。
黃子維定期於國家演奏廳、衛武營國家藝術文化中心和屏東演藝廳等各大場館演出。自2022年起，持續參與胡乃元老師發起的 Taiwan Connection大團演出，深入偏鄉和地方企業，舉辦講座及演出。去年初成立晨邊高地室內樂集 (Morningside Heights Ensemble)，致力於對社會議題的關注和古典音樂的推廣。
Currently studying in the doctoral program at Manhattan School of Music, studying under Professor Julia Lichten, and serving as a music history teaching assistant and researcher at the Center for Career Preparation and Community Impact. Graduated from Manhattan School of Music in 2019, where he studied under French cellist Philippe Muller. Obtained a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School in 2021, received guidance from Richard Aaron during his studies, and received the Yolanda Sardi Schwartzman Scholarship Fund and the E. & W. Naumburg Scholarship.
During his studies, he also actively participated in major international music festivals, including Taos School of Music in the United States, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, Taipei Masters Rising Stars Music Festival, Salzburg Mozart Festival, and Weimar Liszt in Germany. Master class at the Conservatory of Music, during which he was invited to perform a concerto with the Jenaer Philharmonie. At the beginning of this year, he was selected to participate in the Robert Mann String Quartet Institute and receive guidance from international musicians such as Juilliard String Quartet, Emerson String Quartet, and Brentano String Quartet. This summer, I was invited to participate in the Casalmaggiore International Music Festival in Italy, performing with international violinist Hu Naiyuan.
Huang Ziwei performs regularly at major venues such as the National Concert Hall, Weiwuying National Art and Culture Center, and Pingtung Performing Arts Hall. Since 2022, he has continued to participate in the Taiwan Connection group performance initiated by teacher Hu Naiyuan, going deep into rural areas and local enterprises to hold lectures and performances. The Morningside Heights Ensemble was established early last year to focus on social issues and promote classical music.
